Jack Russell Terriers
Home I am retiring from breeding Jack Russell Terriers: Welcome to Flashpoint Kennel. Flashpoint Kennel was established in 1989 with one female Jack Russell Terrier named Trillady. I started out active with the Jack Russell Terrier Club of America (JRTCA). I was a founding member of the Georgia clubs. I showed in conformation and performance events. I had shows and fun day trials here at the kennel. I was also active with the Steeplechase here and in Atlanta. I bought from the best JRTCA bloodlines and bred from what I felt was the best. I bred to improve on quality for correct conformation, working ability, and temperament. I decided that the future of my dogs should be with the largest recognizable venue, American Kennel Club (AKC). My older dogs are registered with the JRTCA as well as being foundation stock with AKC and are listed in the AKC foundation stock book. I am very proud that my dogs are good enough quality and had enough background with their pedigrees to be accepted into the AKC. All of my breeding stock is registered with AKC and also with the Continental Kennel Club (CKC). Stud dogs are DNA tested with AKC. I bred to improve on quality and am striving to create a dog that can win in the ring, race, agility, do go-to-ground, hunt: yet come home and sleep on the couch with the family. I think that if you visited us that you will see the quality of terriers I am producing. While my emphasis is for all around dogs that can perform well, I know they must be easy to live with. I have decided to retire from breeding Jack Russell Terriers. I have young adults, adults, and seniors for adoption. I have all ages, coats, and colors. I have some that are already spayed/neutered. We are working on having them all spayed/neutered. All are up to date on their 2008 yearly shot/wormings/heartworm preventive. The dogs that are already spayed/neutered have already had their rabies shot. All are microchipped. Make loved ones smile! Adopt a dog for them..... I have rescue groups in different states that are helping me find homes for the dogs. So if you live out of state, check with me to see if one of the rescue groups is in your area or if we can arrange for transport. As part of the kennel growth, a supply store has been added for your convenience and for your pet. It has toys of all kinds, crates, shampoo, etc. I have a Georgia Department of Agriculture License and am regularly inspected by by them and AKC. I have decided to start boarding, probably sometimes this summer! There is an indoor facility as well as outdoor runs. So if you are going to board your dog, consider boarding with us. I will keep you updated as to when we will start boarding. For more information, please call 706-802-0055 or email flashptken@aol.com
